Nikos Explorations Ltd. – Update of Exploration at the Coppercorp Property Nikos Explorations Ltd. has completed an induced polarization (IP)/resistivity survey and a soil survey over the Silver Creek South grid as well as ongoing reconnaissance mapping and sampling of the Coppercorp property in the Sault Ste. Marie region of Ontario. Nikos has also staked additional claims immediately north of the Coppercorp property, which now covers an area of about 42 square kilometers, and is considered to have potential for iron oxide copper-gold deposits.

A mobile metal ion (MMI) soil survey identified five areas of anomalous copper with values up to 448 ppm copper stretching over two or more lines (> 100 metres). The anomalies are typically elongate in a north-westerly direction, sub-parallel to the strike of the underlying rocks. The longest anomaly trends northwest and extends over 1300 metres along the eastern side of the grid. The anomaly remains open to the north, south and east.

The IP/Resistivity survey identified seven chargeability anomalies over the grid, five of which extend over two or more lines. One of these anomalies is coincident with the 1300 metre long MMI anomaly over 600 metres. The other chargeability anomalies are sub-parallel to stratigraphy with locally anomalous copper in soil.

During ongoing reconnaisance mapping and sampling, copper mineralization was found associated with amygdaloidal to vesicular basalt to the east of the Silver Creek South Grid. Two chip samples from this area, named the Beaver Pond occurrence, assayed 1.6% copper over 1.0 metre and 2.84% copper over 0.5 metres. The copper is in the form of malachite associated with vein breccias close to the contact of the amygdaloidal basalt and conglomerate.

Approximately 500 metres to the northwest of the Beaver Pond occurrence two grab samples assayed 6.33% copper and 0.09% copper. Other significant results from the reconnaissance program include 0.36% copper, 0.37% copper and 0.59% copper in grab samples of vesicularamygdaloidal basalt.

Nikos has staked a further 70 claim units, covering an area of approximately 1,060 hectares, immediately north of the Coppercorp property. These claims cover the northern extension of a regional magnetic high with an associated gravity high. Such coincident gravity and magnetic anomalies are favourable exploration targets in the search for Iron Oxide Copper Gold deposits.

Nikos is a junior copper exploration company currently exploring three properties for their iron oxide copper gold potential in the Sault Ste. Marie area of Ontario.
